Printed textile heaters
ElastaTherm
ElastaTherm is Interlink Electronics' product family for printed textile heating elements. It is designed for programs where thin, flexible, and durable heat delivery is needed directly inside a garment, seat, or wearable assembly without conventional wired heater mats.
- Printed heating elements integrated directly onto textile substrates
- PTC ink approach helps self-regulate temperature for safer operation
- Low-profile construction suitable for comfort-critical products
- Used in automotive, medical, PPE, and heated apparel programs
Product overview
What ElastaTherm does
ElastaTherm applies Interlink's stretchable printed-electronics process to controlled heat generation. Instead of adding bulky conventional heater assemblies, the heating function is printed into a flexible transfer that is then applied to the textile or target material.
This approach is especially useful for designers that need thermal performance while preserving softness, flexibility, washability, and low stack-up thickness in the finished product.
Where it fits
The family is relevant for automotive interiors, heated outerwear, medical support garments, and worker safety/PPE programs where repeatable warmth and lightweight construction matter.
- Seat and interior surface heating
- Body-worn thermal comfort systems
- Medical warming garments
- Portable heated workwear and PPE
